Farnham and Beyond
We believe that Jesus calls his church to be a faith witness within our community – salt and light.
We don’t just want to invite people to come to us as we gather as Gods people, we also recognise that He calls us to get involved and serve our community with the message and eveidence of His love. Here are some of the ways we do this at present...

Kidz Klub
Kidz Klub is a fun-packed fortnightly event on Saturday mornings for 5 to 11 year olds, based at Potters Gate School in Farnham. It is one of the ways Jubilee seeks to reach out to our community with the message of God's love for people. The programme runs from 10.30am to 12.00 noon and is a mixture of games, drama, songs, prizes and sweets, with a positive Christian message.
See the Kidz Klub web page for more info...
Chattabox
Chattabox is a fun, friendly place to bring your pre-school age children from 10am 'til 11:30 on Tuesday mornings during term time. Come and let them play while you have a cuppa and a chat with friends old and new! We meet at Weydon Christian Centre, Upper Way, Farnham.
Parenting
The Parenting Puzzle is a nurturing programme encouraging parents to enjoy bringing up their kids and to get the best out of family life. It helps us understand how emotions influence actions, learn how to guide children so they learn how to handle their feelings and behaviour, and boost self-esteem in ourselves and our children.
Foodbank
Farnham foodbank is an initiative set up by Christians from churches across the town, to help alleviate the known unavoidable delay between people being identified as being in emotional or financial crisis, and state support becoming available to them. Linking in with a nationwide network of similar organisations, Farnham foodbank has the expertise to provide compassionate yet professional relief to people in the greatest short term need, and fulfil the guiding principles of restoring dignity and reviving hope.
Farnham Carnival
The Farnham carnival is one of the biggest event of the year in Farnham where a great cross section of the community engage in a procession and street party. Thousands line the streets in a wonderful good-spirited carnival atmosphere! Most years has entered the Carnival as a way to standing with our community, as part of our community. We also like winning from time to time as our creative church members design wonderful costumes and floats! After the procession we gather for BBQ at Weydon Christian Centre.
Weydon Christian Centre
The Jubilee Church Farnham Church Office is based at Weydon Christian Centre, but in addition the building is used for all sorts of activities run by Jubilee, other local Chrsitian groups and the lcoal community. If you want to book the building for a kids party, or other private function, then please check availability below and then contact Val Beckerlegge on 01252 820203

The Alpha Course
Alpha is a great way to explore the Christian faith in a relaxed setting over ten thought provoking weekly sessions. The meeting usually starts with a meal, followed by a talk (either a speaker or a video presentation) and then there is an opportunity, in small groups, to discuss what has been said.
The Chantrys Community
Following on from the success of our fortnightly Kidz Klub, which runs at Potters Gate School, in 2009 the church was invited to get involved with the community living on The Chantrys in Farnham. A community outreach worker Amber Delves, funded partly by the church and partly by Waverley Borough Council, was appointed. Since her appointment in Jan 2008 she has been the catalyst in an exciting community development project.
We run ‘The Chantrys Weekend’. Saturday is a ’social action’ day, when various jobs were done around the estate, as requested by residents. On the Sunday afternoon we held a Fun Day, with activities, food and fun for all ages.
Since then a number of activities have begun. There are football and art clubs run by the residents association. The Chantrys Chattabox for mums and toddlers runs on Wednesday mornings, followed by the Chantrys Youth Group on Wednesday evenings, and there are IT classes for lone parents taking place on Friday mornings.
