We believe that the Christian life is journey – coming to faith in Jesus is a journey, and once a Christian the journey continues!
We see this journey as a great adventure where we are not only becoming holier but also becoming more the person God had in mind when he created us!
We want Jubilee to be a place where everyone can grow and therefore place a strong emphasis on training and equipping people to life. There follows some of the current programme that help in this pursuit...
Wordplus
Wordplus is a 2-year course, which gives everyone the chance to receive theological training, whether you are busy in secular work or at home. It equips people with sound biblical knowledge and teaches you to think biblically. Wordplus covers topics such as Old and New Testaments, foundational doctrines and Church history. Wordplus can be a stepping-stone for those who wish to apply for further training such as the Newfrontiers Leadership Training programme. Full details can be obtained from the Jubilee Church Office.
Introducing Church Life
Through each year we run a number of Introducing Church Life courses. This course covers the beliefs, values and practice of Jubilee and gives individuals an opportunity to ask the church leaders any questions they might have. It is hoped that through the course individuals will be able to seek God and discover whether they should become members of the church.
Waverley Woods Weekend
Every year the Church have a weekend away in the local Waverley Woods - some camp, some come as day visitors. It’s a relaxed time to get to know people and for all the family to have fun. Craft activities, a mini-festival evening and a Sunday service are complemented by games, laughter and chatting around the campfire.
Men’s Events
Each month men gather for a prayer breakfast at Weydon Christian Centre from 8am to 10am on the first Saturday of the month. We start with a cooked breakfast and time to catch up with each other, and then spend time praying. For more information contact Steve Delves.
Ladies Events
The ladies gather for special events and throughout this year a new programme will be piloted, some events with woman from other churches in the regional, and other events with just the Jubilee girls.
Seminar Season
One of our aims as a church is to train and equip people not only in the Christian faith but also for life! As well as Growth groups, we occasionally run seminars on a number of topics, from 'How To Read Your Bible' to 'The Parenting Puzzle' ( a 10 week course for parents) to ‘Growing In The Prophetic' to 'Time Out for Marriage'. We would also encourage people to take advantage of the various programmes run by Newfrontiers.
Leadership training
Jubilee Church Farnham is part of the Newfrontiers family of churches and as such benefits from a variety of leadership training programmes. The training programmes provide opportunities to develop evangelistic skills, grow in your understanding of scripture, and develop leadership gifts. Time out for Marriage
A Bible based marriage enrichment course giving both teaching and the opportunity to talk about important aspects of marriage with your partner in private. Topics include: God’s plan to redeem marriage; freeing ourselves to love properly; good communication and conflict resolution; understanding love; and God’s gift of sexuality.
Parenting
The Parenting Puzzle is a nurturing programme encouraging parents to enjoy bringing up their kids and to get the best out of family life. It helps us understand how emotions influence actions, learn how to guide children so they learn how to handle their feelings and behaviour, and boost self-esteem in ourselves and our children.
‘Everything’ Conference
The Everything Conference is an annual one day Christian conference held in the UK by the Newfrontiers family of churches. In 2010 the conferences were held in London and Leeds, in March and April respectively, and focussed on cultural transformation. In its first year, over 1,000 people attended across the two venues. The conference borrows its name from the verse in the Bible "The earth is the Lord's, and everything in it."

Jubilee + Social Action Conference
Join us as we look at what it means to be a people passionate about the communities in which we live, being a blessing and reaching out to those in need.
With a varied programme, it’s certainly not just a conference for the social action enthusiast… we would love many church leaders and those who feel a call to get involved to know this is for you too!
There is a lot on offer - worship, teaching, prophetic input, hands-on seminars, prayer for impartation, networking time, practical information...
The Alpha Course
Alpha is a great way to explore the Christian faith in a relaxed setting over ten thought provoking weekly sessions. The meeting usually starts with a meal, followed by a talk (either a speaker or a video presentation) and then there is an opportunity, in small groups, to discuss what has been said.
