Getting Involved

We are keen to help people get involved, recognising that for some visiting a new church can be a little daunting at first. 

Each Sunday at the back of the auditorium is a welcome desk where Rod and Tracey Orman head up a team who are available to answer any questions about the church and help you get to know people in the church.  On the desk we have general information about the church and information about forthcoming events and activities.  There is also information about Newfrontiers, our Introducing Church Life course and our Child Protection Policy.

The best way to get to know people is by getting involved in a small group that we call Growth Groups – talk to one of the welcome desk team and they will introduce you to leaders of the small groups.

Once a term we run an Introducing Church Life Morning for those who are are wondering about becoming members.  It is a great opportunity to meet the pastors, talk about the vision and values and belief of the church and get all the information you need to decide whether Jubilee is to become your spiritual home.

From time to time we run Welcome Lunches that are a great opportunity to get to know others who have recently started coming to Jubilee.  Lunch is served after church in Weydon Christian Centre and a short introduction to the church is given.  If you want to come to a Welcome Lunch see the team at the information desk.
