Reference:1 Corinthians :
A description of the people of Corinth in Paul's time reveals the interesting fact that it could easily be applied to the people of Farnham today. Sadly, the people of Corinth were not aligned to Christ-like behaviour but keen to be associated with religious organisations that promised the self-seeking, cosmetic like-style that they enjoyed.

The Parable of the Prodigal GodSean Gubb
Sunday Messages
Downloads:84
Recorded:20/09/2009
Length: 36 minutes
Reference:Luke 15:24
The parable of the prodigal son could be related to the son and father because prodigal has two meanings: recklessly wasteful, and lavish. The first applies to the son who took his inheritance early and wasted it on sinful self-indulgence. The second meaning could be applied to the father who lavished love on his son when he returned penniless and in humility. By extension of 'prodigal' to our father in Heaven, we see that, by His grace, we have a perfect fit for His behaviour towards us.
