Carroty Wood Bible camp

Jubilee Church belongs to a family of churches called Newfrontiers.  Since 2002 the Newfrontiers churches in the region have been running an annual camp for children in school years 3 to 7 during the school summer holidays.  The venue is the Barnabus Adventure Centre in Kent, called Carroty Wood. 

The week's camp consists of a variety of physical activities (swimming, climbing, abseiling, high ropes, kayaking, archery, BMXing.......), different crafts, Bible teaching, worship and all sorts of other fun and games, not to mention plenty of good food.

Children are organised into boys or girls groups of about six and each group has their own adult leader who is responsible for their welfare throughout the week.  For most activities groups are paired (usually a boys group with a girls group) and both leaders are present.  Younger children sleep in lodges and the older ones camp on sites around the lodges.  All children eat at the lodges.

This year's camp runs from 23rd - 29th August.
